I've always been interested in sewing, as a child my parents gave me a beautiful sewing machine for Christmas but unfortunately I was never able to really use it because I had no one to teach me.

In 2005 I purchased a new sewing machine so I could try again. It was before the days of Youtube so I made my first quilt using library books (it was awful but I was hooked). I found a quilt shop nearby and took every class I could. A few years later I purchased my first long arm machine, a non-computerized industrial build with no frills. I started quilting professionally on that machine in 2015. In 2018, I upgraded to my current machine which has all of the bells and whistles! Over 20 years later I still love sewing and rarely a day passes that I'm not creating something.
